The good Lord gave us feet as the beginning of our balancing act of life, and even though we start out on our backs and bellies (our core) where we learn to roll over and lift our heads, we move to crawling, to walking and running. After that, if you want to be an athlete, you've gotta start doing work that will help make you more dynamic, agile, and explosive... dare I say ATHLETIC!!!!
So do yourself a favor and work on your overall core strength and balance and then you can graduate to some higher level type of exercises like this.
